Joe Keener III
SCENIC DESIGNER & SCENIC ARTIST
Joe is an accomplished theatre scenic designer and scenic artist. His education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art (painting and printmaking focus) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Scene Design. A lifelong passion for drawing, painting and creating art has been his primary motivation and breathing life into storytelling in a visual way makes him a collaborative artist and theatre maker.
Mr. Keener has explored the visual arts as pure expression as well as a career, gathering a wealth of experience in the artistic mediums of theatre, film, television, theme parks, computer aided design, industrial painting, signwriting, faux finishing, graphics and video projection. He continues to seek new artistic challenges as a designer, painter, teacher and student. A driving goal is to continue collaborating with diverse artists, storytellers, designers, directors, dancers, painters and students.
